Anthony F. Della Pelle
Anthony F. Della Pelle's practice concentrates on condemnation, eminent domain and redevelopment matters. He is board certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Board on Trial Attorney Certification. He has represented property owners throughout New Jersey, as well as a variety of government agencies and boards in condemnation, real estate tax appeal and land use matters.
Mr. Della Pelle has been selected as a “New Jersey Super Lawyer” as published in New Jersey Monthly Magazine and was selected by that publication as one of New Jersey's top 100 attorneys for 2009 and 2010. He was also chosen as one of New Jersey's top real estate attorneys by Real Estate New Jersey Magazine in 2009. In 2009 and 2010, Mr. Della Pelle served as a member of Governor Chris Christie's Transition Committee on Authorities.
Mr. Della Pelle holds the highest ranking, “AV”, from the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory, and has been appointed by the Superior Court of New Jersey as a receiver and special legal advisor in real estate valuation matters. He is a Trustee of the Morris County Bar Association where he chairs its Condemnation Committee. Mr. Della Pelle serves as Co-Chair of the Inverse Condemnation Subcommitte of the American Bar Association,Section of Litigation's Condemnation, Zoning and Land Use Committee. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association; the New Jersey State Builders' Association and its Redevelopment Committee; the Community Builders' and Remodelers' Association; and the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Della Pelle has lectured on eminent domain, redevelopment and real estate tax appeal issues for a variety of professional organizations, including the American Law Institute-American Bar Association, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, the Community Builders Association, the Association of Municipal Assessors of New Jersey and others. He has been a member of the faculty of the New Jersey Association of Realtors’ Graduate Realtor Institute for more than 20 years. His published works include "Environmental Impacts In Real Estate Valuation Litigation", (New Jersey Law Journal, March 23, 2009); "Redevelopment in NJ After Gallentin", (RealEstate New Jersey , October 2007); “A Smoother Road for Site Improvements” (New Jersey Law Journal, June 23, 1997); “Brokers Beware: Caveat Emptor Comes Crashing Down” (Tri-State Real Estate Journal, April 1997) and “Striking a Balance with NIMBY Critics” (Tri-State Real Estate Journal, March 1996).

Mr. Della Pelle graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and English, and received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law. A member of the bar since 1987, he is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. Active in civic affairs, he is a Trustee of the Franklin & Marshall College Alumni Association, the New Jersey Hall of Fame Foundation, and has also served as a long-time Trustee and officer of the New Jersey Association of the Deaf-Blind. He resides in Morris Township with his wife and three children and has coached youth baseball, softball and soccer teams there for many years.
